The Report on Our Charter Night:
TO MD40 LIONS:
RADIUM SPRINGS LIONS CLUB Officers and Charter Members would like to take this opportunity to thank all of Multiple District 40 Lions.
We had been told that we were not alone, but we never imagined our charter banquet September 25th would bring so many Lions from across New Mexico to our community to share in our special night. This very much reinforced our commitment to Lionism, and with your continued support we know that our club will make you proud; and we will become a stronger Lions Club in our community, District 40S, and Multiple District 40!
A special thanks to International Director Don Reese and Past International Director Ray Marley for your words of encouragement.
We would also like to recognize those from MD40, 40N & 40S, who participated, including 40N District Gov. Frank Laskey, who presented a message from MD Council Chairman Harry Kovaschetz, PDG; 40N Vice District Governor Rubin Vigil; Lion Freddie Baker, PDG, for installation of officers; and Lion Bill Davis, Immediate Past District 40S Governor.
Of course, we would not be a Club without the support from 40S Governor Bob Callender and Extension Chair Kitty Callender, Vice Gov. Rick Jensen, and Lion Claudia Jensen, every member of sponsoring club Las Cruces de Noche Lions Club, and Certified Guiding Lions Phil & Anna Marvel.
